Finance Head

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Finance Head to lead our finance department and oversee all financial activities within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with a preference for candidates who hold a Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification. As the Finance Head, you will play a critical role in driving the financial success of the company and providing strategic financial guidance to the management team.

Responsibilities

  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts. Conduct regular financial analysis to identify areas for improvement and support key decision making processes.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Present financial reports to the management team and stakeholders, explaining key financial metrics and trends.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Audit and Taxation: Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors to ensure accurate and timely completion of audit processes. Manage tax planning and compliance activities.
  • Financial Systems and Tools: Evaluate and implement financial systems and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate financial performance and relevant updates to the Management, executive team, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Professional certification as a Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Finance Manager, Finance Controller, or similar role, with at least [X] year of relevant experience.
  • In depth knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, taxation, and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools like Zoho, Tally, Quickbooks.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders.

  • Basic Understanding of Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
  • Knowledge of video and picture editing software such as Adobe.
  • Knowledge of Content Management System.
  • Good Communication and Presentation Skills.
  • Problem Solving Skills
